Skype interviews available The Events Management Specialist will live and breathe community involvement and engage our audience by evangelizing our mission, events, and brand that all serve the public's interest as well as our charity and sponsorship partners.
Essential Responsibilities -Serve as lead liaison and coordinator for events including:
overseeing event staff and volunteers, tactical and logistical set up arrangements, developing sponsorship opportunities, coordination with internal and external vendors -Negotiate venues, vendors, sponsors, talent, special programs, and services -Develop and implement strategic planning to increase attendance and awareness -Oversee event team including staff and volunteers -Create new programs and new sellable benefits to increase event and revenue success -Work with media and directors to publicize mission/events, and secure sponsorships for events to heighten public awareness and reach revenue goals -Develop strong networks within the local community to develop prospecting activities for potential event revenue streams and event sponsorships while increasing visibility and brand awareness Required Qualifications -BA or BS degree or equivalent experience -1 to 3 years of prior related work experience, preferably in sales, event management, and marketing -Should be able to demonstrate successful event management or sales experience including knowledge of sales best practices and current trends -Detail oriented, adaptable, organized, and demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple projects and tasks -Possess strong comprehension skills to analyze goals, reports, and generate the like -Self starter able to work independently as well as collaboratively with various internal teams to deliver results Pledge 5 Foundation is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate against otherwise qualified applicants on the basis of race, color, creed, ancestry, religion, orientation, age, sex, marital status, national origin, disability, genetic information, handicap or veteran status.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
