Job Description Payroll Assistant Gainesville, FL Pay:
$12.
25 an hour Are you organized, reliable, a self starter, great with numbers and have great people skills? If so this position may be for you.
Experience with processing of Time and Attendance and all other payroll items for employees.
In addition , this position is responsible for data integrity by reviewing error and discrepancy reports on a daily basis, assisting Payroll Manager with special projects, assisting Payroll Supervisor with the consistent day-to-day operation of the department, responding to the Payroll needs of the Organization in a timely and accurate manner and performing other administrative support duties as needed.
3 years payroll experience in a large multi-faceted environment(i.
e.
, multiple entities, shifts, pay and earnings types) preferred.
Experience with PeopleSoft payroll/personnel system pertaining to time entry, adjustments and general software knowledge preferred.
Kronos time and attendance experience including editing procedures, report generation, rules analysis and general software knowledge preferred.
Experience must include use of personal computer applications including word processing and spreadsheet updating and creation.
