The new tech-savvy hospital offers a variety of programs and services including Emergency Care, Heart & Vascular, Spine & Orthopedics, Cancer Care, and Women's Health & Obstetrics.
The hospital is also an Accredited Chest Pain Center, has a Community Comprehensive Cancer Program and features a Blue Distinction Center for hip and knee replacement, as well as spine surgery.
Responsibilities of the Director of Case Management :
Demonstrates twenty four hour responsibility and accountability in ensuring case management process is initiated effectively across the organization, and patients receive the appropriate level of care across the continuum.
Ensures provision of quality services by maintaining appropriate resources, staffing levels, competency of staff, maintenance/and performance of equipment, physical space, and training and education of staff.
Ensures delivery of high quality services and contributes to continuity of care through demonstrated use of interdisciplinary team approach to patient care.
Works collaboratively with internal and external resources and agencies, physicians and all members of the interdisciplinary team in meeting stakeholder needs and organizational goals.
Ensures patient case management plans are developed, implemented and evaluated in a timely manner in collaboration with attending physician.
Shares pertinent patient information with physicians, and other members of the interdisciplinary team regarding patient progress, treatment, and discharge planning as appropriate.
Applies the principles of continuous quality improvement in delivery of services through assessment, measuring, and monitoring of case management processes and systems.
Ensures compliance with The Joint Commission and ensures all regulatory and accrediting agencies requirements are met.
Qualifications Completion of RN Diploma program or related health care program from accredited program, college or university Four to five years previous Case Management experience; 2 years were in a management role.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate effectively.
Ability to prioritized work assignments, multi-task and manage time efficiently.
Excellent problem solving skills.
Proficiency in basic PC skills; excel, microsoft office.
Strong knowledge of governmental and private organization and community resources.
Organizational, verbal, interpersonal, customer relations, mathematical, analytical, grammar/spelling, read/comprehend written instructions, follow verbal instructions, computer, clerical.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
