Experimental design and development of analytical, biochemical and biological assays and methods to support commercial and R and D functions.
Accountabilities:

Methods development and testing of new analytical methods to remove inerts and determine product efficacy, viability and product quality control.

Analyse and interpret data, statistical analysis and prepare oral presentations and reports.

Maintain a laboratory notebook and other electronic records in accordance with scientific practice and company policy.

Critical knowledge:

Strong technical background in molecular biology, genetics, analytical chemistry, microscopy, protein chemistry, immunochemistry, and bioinformatics.

Thorough knowledge of prokaryotic biology and culture methods.

Working knowledge statistical data analysis.
Critical experience :

5 years' experience in molecular biology, immunology, microscopy, and analytical chemistry.

5 years' experience in laboratory management.
Critical technical, professional and personal capabilities :

Formal science based education.

(PhD preferred).
