Responsibilities:
Responsible for ensuring all systems are on the backup rotation Plan, organize, and execute medium server-related projects Monitor systems and advise management of possible security breaches and risks Work with other teams in implementing secure systems from both internal and external threats Advise management of any potential security risks to systems and possible remedies Advise management of new service packs, firmware upgrades, patches, and other required maintenance that needs to be performed Logs and tracks calls using problem management database, and maintains history records and related problem documentation Document resolution for common problems and maintain repository of these documents; train other staff members when new documents are created Assist in reorganizing, archiving data, working with users to reduce usage as needed to manage capacity on systems Responsible for setting up proactive monitoring systems (PTRG) to determine the health of servers, and documenting those systems in writing and training other team members and Computer Operations on their use Responsible for documentation of current and future systems, creating and presenting technical and financial material to other teams and management Responsible for working with hardware and software vendors to negotiate the purchase of hardware and services, and diagnose problems and determine corrective action Following the established change policy, including documenting changes to the servers, creating installation and back out checklists, educating others that may be impacted by changes in advance, and looking for ways to improve the process Maintain a clean working environment in the computer room, plan in advance for power and environmental requirements, design server layouts and management systems to meet support and management goals Other duties as required
Qualifications:
Education:
High School or equivalent; College preferred MSCE or higher certification or equivalent experience
Experience:

years installing and maintaining Microsoft Windows servers Special Skills:
Knowledge of IBM and HP Blade Centers, Microsoft Hyper-V and VDI Knowledge of Windows 2008/2012 Server and Windows 7 clients Knowledge of Exchange 2010 Knowledge of web servers and application servers Working knowledge of Windows clustering Knowledge of disk subsystems and management, including SAN/NAS technologies Strong knowledge of TCP/IP based networks Working knowledge of voice and data Communications hardware Working knowledge of firewall products Working knowledge of Frame Relay technologies and hardware Knowledge of LAN, WAN, and Internet Security Project organization and implementation experience Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to work well with all levels of users Core Competencies:

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
