Position Overview Primarily responsible for overall management of the Central Supply department; orders and tracks facility supplies; provides availability of necessary equipment/supplies to meet resident care needs in accordance with laws, regulations and facility guidelines.
Basic Qualifications Education & Certification:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Certified Nursing assistant in current state of employment.
Skills & Requirements:
Must possess the ability to read, write and speak the English language; must have central supply knowledge and have the ability to reduce medical supply waste; must have the ability to use independent judgment when necessary.
Must be able to lift, push, pull or transfer a minimum of 40 lbs.
Experience:
Management and Central Supply experience is preferred; basic computer proficiency; medical terminology knowledge is preferred.
