Position
Summary:
This position is responsible for recruiting various candidates in many of Meridian's programs, collaborates with department managers on a regular basis, and proactively identifies future hiring needs.
The Recruiter will attract candidates using various sources including job boards, social media networks and employee referrals.
Ultimately, the responsibilities of the Recruiter are to ensure our company attracts hires and retains the best employees, while growing a strong talent pipeline.
The duties will involve a variety of recruitment activities including, but not limited to applicant tracking, job advertisement, job file, and onboarding new hires.
This position requires flexibility and on-call, after hours, work as needed.
This is an exempt position with the working hours of 8:
00am-5:
00pm.

Essential Duties/
Responsibilities:
Screen applicants in the HRIS system, and external job boards, through a combination of review of on-line data and phone interviews system to ensure their qualifications match required standards and meet screening metrics.
Coordinating and Scheduling skills assessment and candidate interviews.
Adhere to the recruiting process to ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Ensure all required application documents (online application, current resume, pre-screen questions, etc.
) are collected and properly completed and recorded.
Assist in maintenance of the DATIS HRIS System to collect and record all required applicant data to meet OFCCP standards.
Assist in the preparation and presentation of company recruiting metrics; Regular discussions with Hiring Managers to review the applicant flow, quality of applicants in respect to the posting and if editing/adjustments are needed.
Assists in development of advertising for recruiting needs including internet postings, social media updates, newsprint and other advertising avenues.
Assist the HR Department with the development of other marketing materials.

Assist with cold-calling prospects, as needed to grow HRs business initiatives.
Attend job fairs, community events, school functions and other outside/after hour events- as set by Director of Recruiting.
Follows workflow within the recruitment department to increase efficiency and reduce errors, lost paperwork, and ensures that all applicants receive a timely follow-up/communication.
Recruiter seeks additional learning opportunities to improve skills and enhance his/her ability to participate in all aspects of their job.
The recruiter will complete all courses assigned through My Learning Point or live sessions when needed.
Assists with administering skills assessment, background screening and scheduling of applicant appointments as needed all with a friendly customer service approach.
Perform other duties as required to meet program and departmental goals and objectives or as assigned by the Director of Recruiting.
Measures:
Thrives to maintain a low vacancy rate under 20%, days to fill roles should be under 45 days depending on position.
Quarterly internal job file audits are maintained at 95% accuracy.
Respond to all emails/phone message inquiries within 24hrs of receipt including posting all Datis approve to fill positions posted same day or within 24hrs during working hours.
Weekly updates of assigned positions due on Thursday during talent acquisition meeting.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Knowledge of staffing industry rules and regulations and Medicare guidelines preferred.
Requires strong work ethic, discipline, extreme organizational skills and the ability to cold call new accounts, create, develop and nurture relationships.
Considerable skill in interviewing techniques knowledge of Human Resources laws and regulations regarding recruiting and selection preferred.
Extensive knowledge of information technology applications to recruitment.
Must be a proactive self-starter and strategic thinker who can take ownership of their responsibilities and see them through with minimal oversight.
Be proficient at Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and general internet research.
Language Skills:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common business journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format.
Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
Interpersonal Skills:
Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills, be able to follow instructions from a diverse group of stakeholders and staff, and provide information with ordinary courtesy and tact.
This requirement includes being politically astute.
Must be able to work well in a team environment.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Must be able to organize and prioritize numerous tasks and complete them under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Physical Demand:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, and talk or hear.
The employee is occasionally required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
