We are a consortium of four families in Gainesville, seeking a committed and loving professional to join our team in a full-time role as a Nanny and House Helper.
This position needs a candidate with a strong affinity for children and a knack for managing daily household tasks.
Your primary role will be to provide excellent childcare to our infants and toddlers while supporting us in maintaining a clean and orderly environment.
Families range between 1 child and 5 in number (you will work most often with the 1 infant family right now).
Education:
Associates or bachelors degree preferred.
Experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
Responsibilities:
Offer comprehensive care to children, which includes feeding, changing diapers, comforting, and facilitating age-appropriate developmental activities.
Engage with children in creative, educational play.
Carry out light housekeeping tasks including dishwashing, laundry, and routine cleaning to uphold a clean, tidy, and safe environment.
Ensure the well-being and safety of the children at all times, while allowing parents to have a break.
Adapt to the varying needs and routines of different families, communicating effectively with all involved parties.
Serve on a fixed Monday through Friday schedule, rotating between four local Gainesville families.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in childcare with a strong understanding of infant and toddler care.
Excellent multitasking skills and effective time management.
Comfortable and capable in performing light housekeeping duties.
Superb communication skills and the flexibility to adapt to the dynamics of multiple families.
Genuine love for children and sensitivity to their needs.
Clean background check and references.
Hiring Process:
Our hiring process involves a comprehensive background check followed by a month-long trial period.
