Job Description:
The Small Animal Hospital is recruiting a Client Service Representative for either Internal Medicine or Oncology service.
These positions are integral member of the patient care team and acts as a point person for communication with clients, referring veterinarians, and other areas of the hospital.
The Client Service Representative coordinates many aspects of the receiving day in addition to ensuring that patient records are complete and communicating via phone and email with a wide variety of people both inside and outside the hospital.
An individual in this position must possess excellent communication skills and be proactive in determining the needs of the hospital.
A successful applicant must possess the ability to empathize with clients and remain composed and sincere under stressful situations.
Ideal applicant is motivated, well organized, and projects a professional image while enjoying learning new things and adapting to a changing environment.
They should possess a good base knowledge of veterinary medicine.
Examples of Veterinary Client Service Representative Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Answer calls in a timely manner Document calls in a clear and concise manner within medical record Schedule appointments for incoming cases and future appointments Triage calls to determine urgency Confirm upcoming appointments Assist with estimates, paperwork, scheduling of imaging, and charges for cases Ensure that referring veterinarian calls are triaged and handled in an appropriate time frame Ensure that discharges are finalized and the client and referring veterinarian receive a copyThe service receives Monday - Friday.

Expected Salary:
$17-20/hourMinimum Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent and one-year relevant experience.
Appropriate college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.
