OVERVIEW OF THE COMPANY Fox TV Stations FOX Television Stations owns and operates 29 full power broadcast television stations in the U.
S.
These include stations located in 14 of the top 15 largest designated market areas, or DMAs, and duopolies in 11 DMAs, including the three largest DMAs (New York, Los Angeles and Chicago).
Of these stations, 18 are affiliated with the FOX Network.
In addition to distributing sports, entertainment and syndicated content, our television stations collectively produce approximately 1,200 hours of local news every week.
These stations leverage viewer, distributor and advertiser demand for the FOX Network's national content.
JOB DESCRIPTION Do you want to be a part of a winning team? We have an amazing opportunity for a dynamic, highly motivated Account Executive at FOX 51 in Gainesville, Florida! The successful Account Executive (AE) is someone that can achieve and exceed monthly revenue budgets that consist of new business, digital, OTT, and transactional business, along with any special projects and/or sports budgets.
Ability to negotiate rates, ratings and share of business with new and existing clients.
Create presentations, utilize sales research, use station tools (i.
e.
Kantar, Scarborough, etc) and provide appropriate research information as a service to the client, in an effort to gain share.
Attend and participate on a minimum of 5 client face calls/presentations per week.
Develop and maintain direct client relationships.
Monitor client deliveries to ensure we post.
Prospect new business using research and information gathering techniques.
Update clients on all pertinent station information, assets and promotions.
Efficiently follow-up on leads and/or call-ins.
Address preemption's with makegood execution within 48 hrs.
Adhere to Traffic and Production deadlines.
Work closely with Accounting to establish credit submitting and collecting payments of invoices in a timely fashion.
Broadcast and digital sales experience preferable.
College degree or equivalent work experience.
Excellent communication Skills.
Service Oriented.
