35 an hour 16 hours ago 16 hours ago 16 hours ago This position is in the University Controller's Office and is responsible for providing administrative support to the Finance and Accounting (F&A) Division of approximately 140 employees.
The incumbent supports a variety of administrative, human resources, and fiscal functions of the F&A Division to ensure an effective and well-organized day-to-day operation.
This position acts as a communication liaison for divisional databases, websites, word processing, reporting, policies, and procedures.
The incumbent will deliver exceptional customer service and resolves problems and inquiries for colleagues within the F&A Division, as well as internal and external customers.
Examples of duties:
This position provides advanced administrative support to F&A Division leadership, including scheduling, travel arrangements, large meetings, catering, and other services as needed to support effective day-to-day operations.
The incumbent will manage division-wide requests or information for a variety of areas, including inventory, equipment, security, and facilities.
Processes fiscal transactions for the F&A Division, including procurement, invoice payment, expense reimbursements, deposits, and journal entries.
Completes F&A annual Space Allocation.
This position supports the HR Liaison for the division in personnel maintaining confidential personnel data.
Supports talent recruitment, including the management and updates of position descriptions and acts as the main payroll contact for the F&A Division for bi-weekly payroll processing.
The successful incumbent will provide exceptional customer service and resolves inquiries for F&A Division managers, employees, and internal/external customers.
Expected Salary:
$23.
95 - $26.
35 per hour, commensurate with education and experience.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree; or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
Preferred
Qualifications:
Experience with operations at the University of Florida is preferred.
This position must be proficient in Microsoft Office.
Ability to work and maintain effective working relationships with others; to understand, interpret, and apply applicable rules, regulations, polices, procedures; to effectively communicate in writing and orally; to complete work according to scheduled deadlines; to utilize problem solving techniques and to work independently.
