Job Description:
Under the direction and supervision of the Secure Care Home Health Administrator or DON, this position is responsible for coordinating and maintaining scheduling for Home Health patients and employees including RN's, LPN's, OT's, COTA's, PT's, PTA's, SLP's, and MSW's.
This position reviews and completes referral documentation to begin home health services and schedule service(s) with the appropriate discipline for the required need.
Authorization is also obtained from appropriate insurance providers.

Duties and
Responsibilities:
Understands and adheres to established Alivia Care and Secure Care Home Health policies, processes, and procedures Verify physician licensure and PECO certification.
Ensure physicians are not on the OIG exclusion list Monitors claims data in Palmetto and provides documentation to resolve billing issues Sends out physician orders for signature and tracks to ensure compliance Scheduling patient appointments and visits according to care plans and the employees of Secure Care Home Health Prioritizes the fulfillment of staffing needs of Secure Care with usage of Secure Care employees while maintaining the appropriate standard staffing mix Appropriately notifies and documents all staffing needs met and unmet Notifies DON or Administrator of appropriate personnel of staffing status Performs data entry, report recording, and clerical duties Contacts care providers and patients regarding day-to-day changes Discerns patient services and required as outlined in care plans, agreements, and urgent requests Performs general office duties including, but not limited to, word processing, photocopies, files, shreds, sort/distributes mail, provides reception, web-based, and telephone services Participate in organizational committees as identified that enhance the working relationships between departments within Alivia Care, Inc.
, and Secure Care Home Health At all times, represent Alivia Care, Inc.
and Secure Care Home Health professionally through care and/or services provided to all clients and patients Comply with Alivia Care, Inc.
and Secure Care Home Health policies, procedures, and standard practices Maintain the confidentiality of patients and families within Secure Care Home Health as per government mandates Use resources in a fiscally responsible manner Improve own professional knowledge and skill level Additional duties, as assigned Qualifications and Requirements:
High School graduate or GED, required Prior intake and scheduling experience, preferred 5
years of Healthcare and or Home Health experience preferred Computer skills including, but not limited to, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and scheduling program Knowledge of Well Sky and Palmetto highly desirable Interpersonal, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills Maturity and ability to effectively work with the high demands of this position Level II background check required Bi-lingual Spanish is a plus Job Type:
