Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Cast Tech Apprentice.
In this role, you will work closely with our skilled Cast Technician to learn the art and science of casting techniques for orthopedic patients.
The Cast Tech Apprentice will assist in the application and removal of casts, splints, and other orthopedic devices, ensuring the comfort and safety of our patients.
Responsibilities:
Assist in Cast Application:
Work alongside experienced Cast Technician to learn proper casting techniques for various orthopedic conditions.
Patient Care:
Provide exceptional care to patients during the casting process, ensuring their comfort and addressing any concerns.
Cast Removal:
Learn and perform safe and effective cast removal procedures under supervision.
Orthopedic Device Application:
Assist in applying splints, and other orthopedic devices as prescribed by physicians.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate and detailed records of cast applications, removals, and patient interactions.
Team Collaboration:
Collaborate with orthopedic professionals, nurses, and other healthcare team members to ensure coordinated patient care.
Requirements:
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong interest in orthopedic healthcare.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented with a focus on precision and accuracy.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced Cast Technicians.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
