Infinite Energy Inc. seeks Software Developer IIIs for its Gainesville, FL office.
Duties: Perform systems analysis, design, develop, test, and implement software solutions utilizing diverse languages, platforms, and databases; integrates multiple functionalities and applications into a system solution; perform a variety of tasks such as developing code for new and existing applications, debugging, testing, and documenting. Build unit tests based on requirements submitted by user community. Develop and maintain applications using various programming languages and related technologies such as .NET(C#, WCF, Web Services, LINQ), SQL, ASP, Javascript, and Java. Research, design, write and test new and existing software programs. Write, document and support new and existing code, both independently and as part of a team. Maintain systems by monitoring, identifying and correcting software defects. Develop functional and technical specifications as integral aspects of a project execution plan. Address and resolve technical problems. Liaise with business unit personnel to gather requirements for new functionality. Communicate with internal clients and team members on project needs and progress. Train database analysts, entry level developers and end users. Lead technical design sessions in small and large group settings. Perform code reviews for junior developers and provide guidance where appropriate. Lead and mentor a group of developers. Multiple positions available.
Requirements: Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field and five years of progressive experience in a related object oriented and relational database development position. Experience must include five years experience in the following: Objected Oriented and Database programming principles including C#, .NET(WCF, Web Services, LINQ, MVC etc), JAVA, MSSQL/T-SQL, ASP.NET, and Javascript; debugging, source control, multithreading, batch processing, and effective application of design patterns. Employer will also accept a Master's Degree or foreign degree equivalent in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field and three years of experience in a related object oriented and relational database development position. Experience must include three years of experience in the following: Objected Oriented and Database programming principles including C#, .NET(WCF, Web Services, LINQ, MVC etc), JAVA, MSSQL/T-SQL, ASP.NET, and Javascript; debugging, source control, multithreading, batch processing, and effective application of design patterns.
