MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

A high school diploma or its equivalent.

Possession of a valid Floridadriver's license and an acceptable driving record in accordance with Tacachale policy.

Ability to demonstrate total commitment to outstanding customer service including, but not limited to, acting in a responsive, professional, courteous manner with the employees, customers and public at all times.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Basic computer skills

Knowledge of maintaining records and data

Ability to manage a caseload

Ability to operate a forklift, truck, paper/cardboard baler, paper shredder or other recycling equipment

Ability to communicate verbally and in writing

Ability to work with the developmentally disabled

Ability to life a minimum of 40 lbs.
EXAMPLES OF WORK PERFORMED:
Supervises and instructs the residents in developing appropriate work habits and productive skills involved in community pick up, recycling cardboard, aluminum cans and ledger paper.

Plans workload, workflow and scheduling of customer pick-ups and routes.

Responsible for the delivery of confidential records to the Center and ensures the accurate billing of customers; Communicates in writing and verbally with customers in the community, residents, staff and other customers.

Responsible for ensuring resident safety; Ensures compliance with the State, Tacachale and TIPS Policies and Procedures

Maintains AHCA and OSHA compliance (safe, clean environment) while delivering active treatment.

Inspects and maintains materials, machinery and tools used for the recycling operation and for instructional purposes; Conducts ongoing preventive maintenance checks of the vehicles and reports any problems to the supervisor in a timely manner.

Instructs the residents in the proper and safe use of the cardboard and paper balers and the paper shredder; Instructs assigned caseload of workers in appropriate grooming, social behaviors and employability skills; Monitors other residents as needed.

Provides on the job training and instructs the workers in acceptable work behavior, adherence to work schedules and proper dress.

Assesses the resident's skill level and interests to ensure appropriate work placement.

Responsible for the workflow of product through the Center in order to meet consumer's needs.

Inspects completed work to ensure quality control in cardboard recycling, ledger paper, aluminum cans.

Supervises and monitors the workers' clean-up of the work area; Responsible for the accurate documentation of time worked by residents in their assigned caseload.

Demonstrates and instructs the residents in the safe use of all machinery and equipment utilized by the Recycling Center; Conducts ongoing preventive maintenance checks on the equipment and reports any problems to the supervisor in a timely manner.

Reports progress of the residents in their assigned caseload; Compiles and completes data sheets, progress notes, individual program plans, assessments, wage and hour evaluations, professional reports, IDT reports, ISP summaries and utilizing PPS.

Attends ISP meetings for their assigned caseload; Participates in staff meetings, in-services, staff planning, and curriculum evaluation.

Assists with and provides ideas on program development and implementation; Transports product and workers.

Performs other related duties as required or assigned.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
