Apartment Maintenance Technician (Aviara Apartments)

Multi- Regional Property Management Company is seeking an experienced Maintenance Tech at Aviara Apartments in Gainesville, FL
Position is responsible for completing on-site maintenance/repair work under the supervision of the maintenance manager or supervisor. Position is primarily responsible for repairing apartment unit interiors and fixtures, painting, common areas, grounds and maintaining property exteriors. Position also frequently works with outside contractors.
Position works with the maintenance manager / supervisor and the remaining on-site staff to ensure that all activities are conducted in compliance with all local, state and federal employment, housing, safety, landlord/tenant, OSHA and real estate laws.
Qualified individuals must have at 2-3 years experience in property maintenance. Must have proven ability to successfully work as a team member and diagnose and complete required maintenance/repair work. Dependent upon property needs, previous renovation experience may be required. Carpentry Experience is preferred. Universal EPA Certification is REQUIRED.
High School Diploma (or equivalent) is required.
Full time Position
MUST Possess Valid Driver's License

EOE M/F/D/VEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
