Job Description:
Responsible for maintaining a consistently smooth-running operation.
Ensure physical atmosphere and cleanliness of restaurant including tables and side stations.
Help plan and coordinate timely seating of guests.
Make reservations in person and over the phone.
Answer and return phone calls regarding guest inquiries.
Have complete knowledge about all food, beer, liquor, and wine that is served in the restaurant as well as knowledge of the property's amenities and services.
Directs servers and runner to maintain highest level of service, efficiency, and etiquette.
Communicates with servers, runner and kitchen for food ordering, dining, and delivery to table.
Participate in maintenance and daily set-up of dining room.
Monitor and critique food quality and service levels.
Expedite food orders, checking for accuracy and presentation.
Ensure side work is done daily.
Log nightly recapProvide a pleasant and efficient atmosphere for staff and guests.
Responsible for daily paperwork and closing the night in absence of manager.
Cover all duties of Manager in that person's absence.
Respond to any reasonable task as assigned by supervisor or manager.
Help in other areas of food and beverage as needed.
Assist the Manager in training team members.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
